Campbell joins Samaritan Counseling Center

BARRINGTON – Scott Campbell has joined the Samaritan Counseling Center as clinical director of its faith-based, professional counseling team.

For the past 39 years Campbell was the chief operating officer for Family Service & Community Mental Health Center for McHenry County, which closed its doors June 30. He now oversees the daily clinical services of the Samaritan Center and Advantage EAP, a program serving the employees of corporations, municipalities, school districts and other organizations.

Campbell and his wife, Colleen, have lived in Crystal Lake for 25 years. He has served in leadership roles within the McHenry County Mental Health Board Mental Health System, McHenry County United Way and Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, as well as youth baseball organizations in McHenry County, including the McHenry County Youth Sports Association Board.
