Cary Area Library offers free screening of ‘Finding Kind’

CARY – The Friends of the Cary Area Library and Cary-Grove High School will host a free screening of the documentary “Finding Kind.”

The showings will be at 1 and 4 p.m. Sunday in the auditorium of Cary-Grove High School, 2208 Three Oaks Road, Cary.

The film explores the turmoil and lifelong emotional scars caused by girls mistreating each other. It encourages people to unite, take a stand against this behavior and be kind.

The film is 77 minutes long and is followed by a discussion period. The showing is for those ages 11 and older accompanied by an adult. Attendees do not need to be a Cary library cardholder to attend, but tickets are required.

Seats can be reserved online or in person at the Cary Area Library, where tickets can be picked up until 5 p.m. Saturday. Tickets also can be picked up Sunday at the will call table at the high school.

Walk-ins are welcome if space allows.
