Book donations sought for FRG library sale

FOX RIVER GROVE – Gently used books are being collected for The Friends of the Fox River Grove Memorial Library’s fall book sale Nov. 1 through Nov. 3.

The library, 407 Lincoln Ave., will collect book donations through Oct. 31. Proceeds of the sale will be used for scholarships for Cary-Grove graduates next spring.

The sale will run from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 1 and Nov. 2, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 3.

Residents are asked not to donate textbooks, encyclopedias, magazines or Readers’ Digest materials.

Volunteers to help set up for the sale and work during the sale are welcome and appreciated.
