Police: Carpentersville woman sold heroin to undercover deputy

WOODSTOCK - A Carpentersville woman faces drug-related charges after selling heroin to an undercover police officer, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Alicia A. Mugisha, 29, has been charged with unlawful delivery of a controlled substance and two counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance.

An undercover sheriff’s deputy purchased approximately 1 gram of heroin from Mugisha on Friday near the area of Algonquin and Sandbloom roads in Algonquin, according to a news release. The vehicle she was traveling in was later pulled over.
