Police: Crystal Lake man pointed gun at roommate
CRYSTAL LAKE – A Crystal Lake man accused of pointing a gun at his roommate during an argument will appear in court early next month.
Derek Radesky, 22, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated assault with a shine flasher, and unlawful possession of a firearm on Sept. 27. All three charges are misdemeanors.
Radesky was in the garage of his home in the 1200 block of Walnut Glen Drive at around 3 a.m. when he engaged in a verbal argument with his roommate, according to police. He later went to his vehicle, pulled out a handgun with a laser sight, and pointed it at the man.
