During her entire lifetime, Dee Beaubien has been a tireless worker for others in need, which includes raising millions of dollars for their well-being. Her leadership is evident in how effective she has been as trustee for the Hospice Foundation of Northeastern Illinois. Her professional background with a master’s degree in psychology covers 30 years as a family counselor.

With this kind of hands-on people skills, Dee is well-equipped to bring about some change in the costly behavior of our Legislature, where neither party can agree on anything of importance to the taxpayer. Sixty percent of the current members on both sides of the aisle know Beaubien because of her lobbying efforts through the years for Mark Beaubien’s legislation. They trust her for her logical reasoning and sincerity. They know she thinks independently and works for the common good.
