HARVARD – Community Health Partnership is taking over the office that has been the home of the Harvard Chamber of Commerce the past 10 years at 62 N. Ayer St..

Crystal Musgrove, executive director of the chamber, has been spending the past month relocating to the Harvard chamber's new office at 40 N. Ayer St.

She said the office is now officially open.

"We are extremely grateful to the board of directors, volunteers and our members for all of their help with the move," Musgrove said.

"We've had so many people come in, looking in the window and saying "are you open?"

Musgrove said there have been some hiccups in the move – some phone and Internet issues. And the chamber is still waiting approval from the city for a new sign for the front.

"We are excited about the new location and will get much more exposure on the corner and in the middle of the downtown area," Musgrove said.

Musgrove said during the move it has been interesting looking through some of the old files, minutes, financials, newspaper clippings and pictures of our members and town.

She said she plans to have much of that information on display when the chamber has its open house at its new location on Nov. 30.

For more information, call the chamber at 815-943-4404.
