Man accused of using woman's credit cards after assaults

McHENRY – A McHenry man has been charged after police said he sexually assaulted a woman twice in one night, then took her clothes and belongings, left her in a vacant house and used her credit card.

Antonio J. Sciara, 23, is charged with criminal sexual assault for the incident in July.

He initially was arrested on two counts of unlawful use of a credit card. He was arrested again Thursday after lab results came in and charges were approved by the McHenry County State's Attorney's Office, McHenry Police Sgt. Ryan Sciame said.
