McHENRY – The McHenry Public Library will host its 14th annual ComiCon – Comic/Graphic Novel Convention – from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in the meeting room of the library, 809 N. Front St.

Attendees can meet some well-known comic artists, writers and others in the business, and see the newest in comics and graphics novels.

Artists and authors scheduled to be at this year’s convention are Scott Beaderstadt, Cory Carani, Bill and Linda Reinhold, Daddy’s Toys, Richard Perez and Tango Unlimited and Mistotime.

Participants also can get some swag, meet the Anime Review Board, play trivia games and enter to win life-size Hulk, Sheldon and Yoda figures.

ComicCon is a free program geared toward middle- and high-school students. It does not require registration.

Attendees are asked to use the north parking lot entrance toward the back of the building for this event.
