Forget politics

To the Editor:

OK, now I have heard it all. Claiming the Republicans are using the loss of the ambassador in Libya as a political move is nuts! Would we not have hearings if it were a Republican administration? Of course we would!

The fact is we were warned about the attack. Chris Stevens and his family deserve to know why he died, when extra protection was requested and denied even after we were warned of an attack on the embassy.

I have watched as the media protects this administration from any responsibility for anything. But I will be darned if I am going to keep silent about the responsibility for the death of an American serving his country and getting the lack of protection he deserves as an American citizen!

Forget politics. The ambassador deserves a lot better than having the responsibility for his death used for political gain. Just once I would like to hear, “yes we take full responsibility.” Just once!
