Why burn leaves?
To the Editor:
Fall is here again and with it comes the unavoidable task of dealing with the leaves on the ground. For those of us within a village or city limits, we usually rake them and struggle to fit them in those paper bags and put them to the curb.
For those outside city limits, many usually burn the leaves. But is this really the best way to dispose of leaves? I think not.
