CRYSTAL LAKE – The community is invited to learn about mental health wellness and recovery during the second annual Mental Health Conference from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 at McHenry County College, 8900 Route 14.

Presentations include “A Personal Journey to Recovery” by Peter Ashenden; “Advocacy, Education and Support as a Pathway to Recovery” by Tom Troe; “Committing to Authentic Peer Support Services” by Lisa Goodale; and “Psych Meds 101” Melanie Kinley.

Ashenden will discuss aspects of recovery and how to maintain a recovery lifestyle.
