SOUTH BARRINGTON – Meghan Idstein of Algonquin and Chris Sifnotis of Elk Grove Village were married at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, 2012, at Willow Creek Community Church in South Barrington. The Rev. Dan Lovaglia officiated.
She is the daughter of Bob and Barb Idstein of Algonquin. He is the son of George and Denise Sifnotis of Elk Grove Village.
Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a strapless satin dress with a sweetheart neckline.
She carried a bouquet of red roses with a white satin handle.
Maid of honor was Kristen Mill of Buffalo Grove. Bridesmaids were Emily Idstein of Algonquin, Amanda Sifnotis of Elk Grove Village, Helen Bailie of Springfield, Clara Johnson of Algonquin and Kelsey Gomberg of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Best man was Brian Maxian of Austin, Texas. Groomsmen were Chris James of Chicago, Peter Sifnotis of Chicago, Chris Roome of Jacksonville, Chuck Taylor of Chicago and Nathan Idstein of Algonquin. Ushers were Sam Stowell of Laomi, Matt Rittle of Franklin Grove and Dan Collins of Lake in the Hills.
After a reception at The Stonegate in Hoffman Estates, the couple took a wedding trip to Toronto and Niagara Falls.
The bride is a 2005 home school graduate in Algonquin and a 2007 graduate of Elgin Community College.
The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Elk Grove High School and a 2006 graduate of Illinois College in Jacksonville. He is employed at Cooper’s Hawk in Arlington Heights.
They reside in Elk Grove Village.
