McHENRY – Hilary Hettermann of Johnsburg and Justin McAndrews of McHenry were married in a double-ring ceremony at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 9, 2012, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in McHenry. Father Godwin Asuquo officiated.
She is the daughter of Edwin and Lina Hettermann of Johnsburg. He is the son of Patrick and Mary Lou McAndrews of McHenry.
The bride was given in marriage by her parents.
Matron of honor was JoeDee Hettermann of Wonder Lake, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Abbey Hettermann of McHenry, cousin of the bride; Katie Vanderstappen of Hebron, friend of the bride; Brittany Nobilio of Johnsburg, friend of the bride; and Susan Conroy of Johnsburg, friend of the bride.
Best man was John McAndrews of McHenry, brother of the bridegroom. Groomsmen were Jason Hettermann of Wonder Lake, brother of the bride; Chad Hettermann of Sioux Falls, S.D., brother of the bride; Joey Huemann of Johnsburg, friend of the bridegroom; and Ryan Salemme of McHenry, friend of the bridegroom. Ushers were Mikey Huemann of Minturn, Colo., friend of the bridegroom; Billy Westfall of Johnsburg, friend of the bride and bridegroom; and Zack Turner of Janesville, Wis., cousin of the bridegroom. Ring bearer was Jayce Hettermann of Wonder Lake, nephew of the bride.
After a reception at the Holiday Inn in Crystal Lake, the couple took a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock and a 2009 graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wis.
The bridegroom is a 2003 graduate of Marian Central Catholic High School and a 2007 graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa.
They reside in McHenry.
