To the Editor:

It is clearly time for the elected officials on the County Board and township road districts to resolve the issue between subdivisions with undedicated, unmaintained subdivision roads in the unincorporated areas and their road districts. The residents in these subdivisions pay the same tax rates as everyone else but receive nothing for the roads that go by their homes.

Many of the candidates running for the County Board understand and are willing to help solve the problem. I hear good things about Mike Skala, Nick Provenzano, Kathleen Bergan Schmidt, Mary McClellan and James Heisler. I encourage others to support them.
