To the Editor:

I’m writing to encourage others to support the election to the County Board in November of several candidates who I know of who are willing to address the unfairness of the township road districts collecting tax dollars from property owners for services that they then don’t receive. The County Board has the ability to begin solving the problem and many have indicated that they understand and are willing to do so.

Particularly, I would like Diane Evertsen, James Heisler, Nick Chirikos, and Mary McClellan to be successful.
