Algonquin man pleads not guilty in sex case

WOODSTOCK – An Algonquin man pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges that he sexually assaulted a young girl more than 10 years ago.

Thomas G. Reed, 52, was charged in August with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and one count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

The alleged abuse occurred when the girl, now 22 years old, was between the ages of 8 and 12, McHenry police Sgt. Ryan Sciame said.
