Leave it alone
To the Editor:
The upcoming county executive referendum, if passed, would significantly change the way McHenry County’s form of government is run in the future. Why should we allow politics to enter into the picture when the current board and its chairman have succeeded in establishing trust, fiscal responsibility and an open form of government?
Nay, nay, I say. If it’s not broken, leave it alone. If one has concerns or questions, attend a meeting, talk to a board member, get more involved.
