NWHerald.com to webcast referendum forum

A forum featuring two McHenry County lawmakers who hold opposing views on a Nov. 6 referendum that would change county government will be webcast live by NWHerald.com.

State Rep. Jack Franks, D-Marengo, and state Rep. Mike Tryon, R-Crystal Lake, will take opposing sides on the referendum that asks voters if they want the county to adopt a county executive style of government.

The forum, organized by Patriots United, begins at 7 p.m. today at McHenry County College. NWHerald.com will begin its webcast about 7 p.m.
