Algonquin library to host program on LITH school

ALGONQUIN – The Algonquin Area Public Library and the Lake in the Hills Historical Society are teaming up for a program, “Lake in the Hills Ford School History and Frontier School House.”

From 2 to 3:30 p.m. Oct. 28, Bob and Arden Spooner of the Lake in the Hills Historical Society will speak at the Algonquin Area Public Library District’s Eastgate Branch, 115 Eastgate Drive, Algonquin.

This program will be a learning experience for all ages. The Spooners will provide historical background of the area and the historical Ford School.
