Cutler brushes off scrutiny

LAKE FOREST – An upcoming game on prime-time TV meant another round of unwanted introspective questions Thursday for Bears quarterback Jay Cutler.

Cutler has drawn scrutiny for his sideline behavior in each of the Bears’ past two games on national TV. He screamed at and bumped teammate J’Marcus Webb after being sacked in Week 2 at Green Bay, and he stood up and walked away from offensive coordinator Mike Tice after a failed series in Week 4 at Dallas.

Such antics have drawn scrutiny from a wide range of ex-NFL players and analysts.
