Main Stay to host Fall Festival in Richmond

RICHMOND – Main Stay Therapeutic Riding Program will host its first Fall Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. Oct. 27 at Main Stay’s farm at 6919 Keystone Road.

There will be horse-drawn hayrides, a stage coach demonstration, pumpkin decorating, games, a costume contest and other fall activities.

This year’s event also will commemorate Main Stay’s 25th anniversary of providing equine-related therapeutic activities to people from 3 to 93 who are faced with a broad spectrum of challenges.

Main Stay volunteers, horses and students will be honored on the day of the event with a Parade of Stars.

Tickets before Saturday are $10 a person. After that they are $15 a person. The cost for children 10 and younger is $5.
