Van, driver sought in Huntley

HUNTLEY – The Huntley Police Department is seeking the public’s help to locate a van and its driver who reportedly approached a juvenile.

A white van with red lettering approached the juvenile about 3 p.m. Wednesday in the Northbridge subdivision, police said. The driver followed the juvenile for a short distance and then yelled out to the young person. The driver did not get out of the van, according to a news release.

The police department is seeking any information from witnesses. The department reminds residents to call 911 immediately when such acts occur and are believed to be a threat, and to provide as many details as possible.
