Wrong frequency

To the Editor:

Be an independent, not a cheerleader. Your vote will count in polling as trending. Electoral votes in Illinois are committed.

Misguided policy wasted taxpayers’ money, stimulating only government size. Funding off-the-chart science when practical solutions for energy were obtainable in our country using environmentally sound ways delayed our recovery substantially.

The Obamacare shell game has been exposed. The world sees the president as a community organizer.

Senior foreign leaders are far more world-wise than he is street-wise. We do not owe an apology for being Americans, but our president owes us one for being sidetracked by his own party’s dysfunction.

Illinois is not a good governing model for the federal government. Democratic chairpersons were accountable for oversight responsibility in Congress on banking. They gambled instead of regulating. Our future demands a business approach. Foreign policy is critical. The State Department and the president are not on the same frequency.
