Diedrich and Richardson

BOSSIER CITY, La. – Marisa Diedrich and Daniel Richardson, both of Haughton, La., were married in a double-ring ceremony at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2012, in Bossier City, La. The wedding officiant was Ken Lassiter.

She is the daughter of Robert and Bridget Diedrich of Wonder Lake. He is the son of Johnny Richardson of Irvington, Ala., and Sharon Hooks of Lake City, Fla.

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless gown with crystal and pearl beading and ruffled train.

She carried a bouquet of yellow daffodils.

Maid of honor was Stephanie Pifko of Chicago. Bridesmaids were Carrie Dzike of Chicago, Amber Megginson of Bonaire, Ga., and Brandi Helms of Lake City, Fla. Flower girl was Sophia Plemons of Haughton, La.

Best man was Matt Getz of Haughton, La. Groomsmen were Adam Megginson of Bonaire, Ga., Joe Gardunio of Chicago and Keith Helms of Lake City, Fla. Ring bearer was Alex Megginson of Bonaire, Ga.

After a reception at Taylortown Store in Bossier City, La., the couple took a cruise to the Cayman Islands.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Marian Central Catholic High School in Woodstock, a 2005 graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a 2008 graduate of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. She is curator of collections at Bossier Parish Library Historical Center in Bossier City, La.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Alma Bryant High School in Irvington, Ala. He is serving in the U.S. Air Force stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base in Bossier City, La.

They live in Haughton, La.
