Hoeflich and Kalas

ADDISON – Laura Hoeflich of Roscoe and Fielding Kalas of Harvard were married in a double-ring ceremony at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 2012, at Venuti’s Banquets in Addison. The Rev. Phil Landers officiated.

She is the daughter of Elena Hoeflich of Roscoe. He is the son of William and Sarah Joyce Kalas of Harvard.

Given in marriage by her mother, the bride wore a gown with beaded lace split front and beaded embroidery at the empire waist.

She carried a bouquet of purple roses with pink and white accents.

Matrons of honor were Diana Schultz of Rockford and Amber Lee Jones of Harvard. Bridesmaids were Nora Hoeflich of Chicago, Katie Kimmel of Marengo, Jessica Holmes of Capron and Amy Douglas of Poplar Grove. Flower girls were Summer and Georgia Jones of Harvard.

Best men were John Schultz of Rockford and Robert Homola of Hampshire. Groomsmen were Tyson Nolan of Kankakee, Phillip Jones of Harvard, Aaron Kalas of Harvard and John Gerren of Spring Grove. Ushers were Trevor Ouimette of South Elgin, Shawn Kalas of Belvidere, Georgie and Mikey Subu, both of Canton, Mich., and Isaiah Cole of Chicago. Ring bearer was Maynard Jones of Harvard.

After a reception at Venuti’s, the couple took a wedding trip to Jamaica.

The bride is a 2003 graduate of North Boone High School in Poplar Grove and a 2007 graduate of Northeastern Illinois University. She is a pet care manager at PetSmart in Schaumburg.

The bridegroom is a 2001 graduate of Harvard High School and a 2009 graduate of the College of DuPage. He is a journeyman electrician at MKD Electric in Elgin.

They reside in Hampshire.
