Our apologies to McHenry County Board District 6 candidate Larry Smith and the family of the late Larry Snow.
In our print edition today, a page designer inadvertantly pulled in a photo of Snow, former District 158 School Board member, to go above Smith's name in a story on the District 6 race. To compound the error, copy editors did not discover it before we went to press early this morning.
We're looking into how this happened, and will discuss steps to make sure it does not happen again. We will be printing a correction in Wednesday's newspaper as well.
