McHenry Parks and Rec plans Halloween Hoopla

McHENRY – The McHenry Parks and Recreation Department will host the annual Halloween Hoopla from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Duker School, 3711 W. Kane Ave.

Families are invited to dress in costumes and celebrate a safe Halloween indoors.

The event will include music, dance contests, games and simple crafts. Prizes and candy will be given away for contests and carnival games.

The program is for families with children ages 2 to 10.

The cost is $5 a child at the door; adults attend for free.
