Sherman Health announces plan to partner with Advocate

ELGIN – Sherman Health System has announced a plan to partner with Advocate Health Care.

The Sherman Health Board of Directors voted Monday to sign the letter of intent with Oak Brook-based Advocate, according to a news release. A formal closing date on the deal is expected between May and June.

“Through this partnership, Sherman will be able to grow and expand our services at an accelerated pace to become a distinctive, regional destination for care,” Sherman President and CEO Rick Floyd said in the news release.
