Wolves’ clothing

To the Editor:

Beware of sheep in wolves’ clothing! Illinois Speaker Mike Madigan is about to get you.

Dee Beaubien is the independent candidate for state representative who has received more than $400,000 in direct financial aid from Madigan, the Democratic Party, and their friends. In exchange for the money, Beaubien will vote for Madigan for speaker of the house if elected.

To further the cause, Beaubien has funneled money to the campaigns of County Board candidates Tina Hill and Donna Kurtz, both of whom support Beaubien and are avid pro-choice candidates. Hill has announced her desire to be the next County Board chairman.

This is all part of Madigan’s plan to transfer the state’s bankrupt teacher pension obligations to the local school districts and add to our local real estate tax burden.

Wake up, Republicans, we are about to be fleeced. Better elect Dave McSweeney state representative.
