Not advantageous
To the Editor:
I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to attend and listen to the debate on the upcoming referendum on McHenry County Board government.
Thank you to Rep. Jack Franks and Rep. Mike Tryon for their participation. At debate’s end, I drew the conclusion that our current form of county government provides the necessary accountability to voters. Therefore, I will vote “no” to the proposed change outlined in the referendum.
