I am writing in support of Mary Margaret Maule’s candidacy for McHenry Country Board. Maule is an extraordinary leader who has a vast knowledge of the issues facing the county. She has been an advocate for small business through her years of teaching small-business development at the Shah Center of McHenry Community College. Her knowledge and political skills would be an asset to a county that struggles to attract and retain new businesses.

I have had the honor of participating with Maule in Leadership Greater McHenry County and in co-facilitating Veterans Voices, a writers’ workshop for military veterans to help them tell their stories and find healing. She comes from a strong Navy family background where her husband, Jack, and daughter, Aeysha, have served our country with distinction.
