McHENRY – Collier House will have its annual spaghetti dinner and raffle from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at the McHenry VFW, 3002 W. Route 120, one-half mile east of the Fox River.

On July 8, 2004, Spc. Collier E. Barcus of McHenry was killed in enemy action in Iraq.

To honor his memory, Collier House has been built in Clark, Wyo., to provide a safe and nurturing retreat for families in crisis.

Donations from this fundraiser will be used to offset construction and operational costs.

Music at the dinner will be provided by returning Just Duet and composer-performer Joe Cantafio.

Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for children 4 to 9. Chilldren 3 and younger are free.
