Vote accordingly
To the Editor:
The McHenry County Board has decided not to increase its tax levy for the next year. So now it’s suddenly concerned about the personal finances of the citizens of the county just as an election comes up with all board members’ seats available.
I want to make sure that no one forgot what happened last year when they had the same opportunity to not increase the levy, but did so anyway despite having a very large reserve balance.
