CRYSTAL LAKE – Two Crystal Lake men facing weapons charges are scheduled to appear in court next month, according to court records.

Eric S. Sorenson, 29, was charged Sunday with three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, three counts of unlawful possession of firearm ammunition by a felon and two counts of aggravated unlawful use of weapons.

A Crystal Lake police officer found Sorenson in the rear of a building in an industrial area Sunday at around 12:50 a.m., according to a news release. A search later yielded several loaded firearms in the trunk of a vehicle.
