CRYSTAL LAKE – Two Crystal Lake men facing weapons charges are scheduled to appear in court next month.

Eric S. Sorenson, 29, was charged with three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, three counts of unlawful possession of firearm ammunition by a felon and two counts of aggravated unlawful use of weapons, court documents show.

A Crystal Lake police officer found Sorenson in the rear of a building in an industrial area Sunday about 12:50 a.m., according to a news release. A search later turned up several loaded firearms in the trunk of a vehicle.
