To the Editor:
I have discovered the formula to earn a Northwest Herald endorsement. Discover what the Northwest Herald professes it believes in, and simply do the opposite. The newspaper, for instance, said it was against violations of the open meeting act, against property tax increases, and it was for allowing citizens to directly elect the leader of the County Board.
Board members Ken Koehler, John Jung, Tina Hill and Nick Provenzano all knowingly conspired and were caught violating the Open Meetings Act to keep citizens in the dark. All four board members voted to increase property taxes, even when home values have fallen. All four board members voted to not allow citizens the right to directly vote for the County Board leader.
