Flag-raising planned in CL

CRYSTAL LAKE – The public is invited to a veterans breakfast and flag-raising ceremony Friday at Bickford of Crystal Lake, 717 McHenry Ave.

A special honor will be given to all of the community’s veterans. Special guests scheduled to attend are Mayor Aaron Shepley and Mike Iwanicki of the Veterans Assistance Commission.

A complimentary breakfast will run from 8 to 10 a.m., with the ceremony taking place from 10 to 11 a.m.
