WOODSTOCK – Twenty-four local attorneys have put their names in the running for two open judge positions in the 22nd Judicial Circuit that serves McHenry County.
The sole practitioners who have applied are Neil O. Anderson of Spring Grove, Raymond M. Flavin of Woodstock, Robert T. Hanlon of Woodstock, Richard H. Jackson of Crystal Lake, Denise M. Kuzniewski of McHenry, Gerald P. Lenzen of Woodstock, George A. Mueller of Crystal Lake and Mary H. Nader of McHenry.
Other applicants include Anne K. Brophy of Woodstock, a deputy staff judge advocate with the U.S. Army; Christopher M. Harmon of Richmond and Adrian M. Gosch of Crystal Lake, both associates with Gummerson Rausch Wand Lee Wombacher; Mark R. Facchini of Crystal Lake, an associate with Donahue & Walsh; Robert W. Fetzner of Crystal Lake, an associate with Buxton & Kasper; Kristen N. Foley of Woodstock, a senior assistant city attorney with the city of Naperville; Cynthia D. Lamb of Bull Valley, a partner with Campion Curran Lamb & Cunabaugh; James K. McBride of Johnsburg, a partner with Short & McBride; Jeannie M. Ridings of Crystal Lake, a partner with Kililis Ridings & Vonau; Cynthia A. Schaupp of Algonquin, with Holland & Knight; Marjorie L. Worth of McHenry, a senior associate with Botto Gilbert Schottland Lancaster; and Sally J. Zimmerman of Woodstock, a partner with Cassiday Schade.
Two McHenry County assistant state’s attorneys have applied: Demetrios P. Tsilimigras of Cary and Norman D. Vinton of Crystal Lake, as well as Winnebago County assistant state’s attorney, Tiffany E. Davis of Woodstock, and Cook County assistant state’s attorney, Mary E. McClellan.
The applicants will be interviewed by the circuit judges and evaluated by the Illinois State and McHenry County bar associations.
The names of each candidate will be placed on a ballot, and each circuit judge will vote for one candidate for each vacancy.

The openings are the result of two retirements: Judge Joseph Condon and Judge Gerald M. Zopp.
Judge Gordon E. Graham has taken Condon’s place in a felony courtroom, and Judge Michael W. Feetterer moved into Graham’s previous position handling misdemeanor cases.
