To the Editor:

It is extremely important that we re-elect McHenry County Board member John Hammerand. He is honest, trustworthy and vital as a county representative for District 4. He listens to everyone, researches issues and always considers the cost to the taxpayer when voting on budgets and expenditures.

John fights for the people in our district by calling for a reassessment of property to market values. He was the only District 4 County Board member who voted to reduce the county levy. He also believes that we should reduce our debt instead of increasing our reserves.
