Suspect held in shooting of boys playing football
CHICAGO – A Chicago man suspected of shooting two boys as they played football on a South Side street has been ordered held on $200,000 bail.
Police said 19-year-old Walter White emerged from an alleyway and started shooting in the boys' direction, hitting both in the stomach, on Thursday afternoon.
The boys, ages 13 and 14, were taken to a hospital in serious condition. Their conditions have since stabilized.
