To The Editor:
An “apology tour” coupled with rights for captured terrorists. A desire to close our prison at Guantanamo Bay. Failure to call the Fort Hood killings an act of terror. The cover-up of “Fast and Furious.” The cover-up of Libya. The Middle East on fire. The burning of our flag with chants of “death to America.” And, President Obama says, “it’s offensive” to suggest there may be some impropriety with him and his administration in the handling and answering of national security issues.
This president’s desire to take our country from individual independence to collective dependency is offensive and destructive. And, that’s why fixing our economy wasn’t first on his agenda. High unemployment, more welfare programs and free entitlements favor his redistribution ideology. To win an election, this president offers to remove all consequences to his select groups who make bad decisions, perform bad behavior or choose not to follow our laws.
