HINSDALE – Announcement has been made of the engagement of Laura Katherine Tattersall of Hinsdale and Mark Lawrence Wallen of Crystal Lake.

She is the daughter of Dr. Charles and Maureen Tattersall of Hinsdale. He is the son of Dr. Thomas and Karen Wallen of Crystal Lake.

The bride-to-be is a 2004 graduate of Hinsdale Central High School and a 2008 graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington with majors in finance and operations management from The Kelley School of Business. She attends graduate school at DePaul University studying for a Master of Science in nursing. She aspires to become a family nurse practitioner.
