WOODSTOCK – A Woodstock couple remained in custody Monday on $230,000 bond each after police said a search revealed crack cocaine and weapons, including a gun and brass knuckles.
Alexandra M. Hanners, 18, and Raymond P. Teague, 25, both of 715. N. Clay St., have been in the McHenry County Jail since about 9:15 p.m. Thursday.
They must post 10 percent of their bonds, or $23,000 each, to be released.
Teague and Hanners are charged with multiple drug and weapons offenses, including unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful delivery of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school. Their home is near Clay Academy on Grove Street.
While executing the search warrant, police said they found about 130 grams of crack cocaine worth about $6,500, a .380 caliber semi-automatic pistol, ammunition, brass knuckles, two digital scales and packaging material.
Police also seized a 2000 Mercedes Benz E-Class.
Court records indicate that Teague has a pending misdemeanor battery case and is a convicted felon, having previously pleaded guilty to aggravated battery in 2010. He also has a 2009 misdemeanor conviction for obstruction of justice.
Both Teague and Hanners filed paperwork asking for representation by a public defender. When asked who he owes money to, Teague responded, “Everybody.”
