To the Editor:

Are you on Social Security today? Are you 55 years old today? If you answered “yes” to either question, why are you scared to death by the Democrats with their lies about reforming Social Security when it will not impact your benefits. Do you really believe the Democratic political ad depicting Paul Ryan of pushing grandma over the cliff as if any change to save Social Security will kill you? Well, like Yogi Bear, “I’m smarter than the average bear!”

When Obama takes $716 billion from Medicare to fund Obamacare, will this increase the life of Social Security? No, but the Democratic spin is that attacking “waste and fraud” will strengthen the program; but has government ever found billions in waste and fraud in any program and eliminated it.
