It has been my pleasure to serve alongside Sue Draffkorn on the McHenry County Board for the past 10 years. She has been a consistent advocate for community reinvestment, affordable housing and the environment.

What makes Sue Draffkorn so unique when compared to most politicians is that, despite her quiet reserve, she has a strength that lies in her ability to listen and to be judicious in her decisions. While other politicians may spend hours pontificating, Sue does her homework on the issues, works with her constituents, and expresses concern and provides leadership at the committee level.
