Library fine forgiveness starts today
CRYSTAL LAKE – The Crystal Lake Public Library is offering Pay It Forward: 2012 – Library Fine Forgiveness Days today through Nov. 15.
The Pay It Forward program is designed to help patrons clear their accounts while supporting the Crystal Lake Food Pantry in conjunction with Community Harvest.
Patrons who have overdue fines at the library can pay in cash, or write a check to the Crystal Lake Food Pantry for at least half of the amount of their fines. The library will forgive the remaining balance.
