McHENRY – A Melrose Park man has been charged in connection with two vehicle thefts, according to the McHenry Police Department.

Thomas M. Gibbons, 45, was charged Tuesday with two felony counts of unlawful possession of a stolen vehicle. He is currently being held in DuPage County, where he was charged with possession of stolen property.  

The charges revolve around two separate theft incidents Sunday in McHenry, according to a news release. A semi-tractor went missing from JA Logistics and a semi-trailer from Charles Herdrich & Son Inc.
