Speaker on paranormal at Opera House

WOODSTOCK – In the spirit of their latest production, Woodstock Opera House will host a speaker on paranormal activity Sunday.

Tony Olszewski, a retired detective who founded the McHenry County Paranormal Research Group in 2006, will speak at 1:30 p.m. on "Poltergeists, Spirits, and the Paranormal – Facts and Fiction." The free event comes in advance of the 3 p.m. matinee production of Blithe Spirit, a story about a British novelist who encounters his first wife seven years after her death.

At the Opera House, 121 E. Van Buren St., Woodstock, Olszewski will discuss the physical investigations his group has performed, and display some of the equipment they work with.
