Zeal and fairness
To the Editor:
In the process of working with other McHenry County residents who own property on privately maintained public roads that should be cared for by the township road districts with some of the tax dollars that are received from those areas, I have come to appreciate what I perceive is the zeal and fairness of almost every McHenry County Board candidate I have encountered or heard about.
Of all the candidates that I have had contact with, none has been more in the forefront of leaders trying to resolve this issue than Diane Evertsen. She’s been trying to help from the beginning because she sees how unfair the township roads districts are in resisting doing what they’re being paid to do.
